Author Signing & Discussion Supper on January 29th
On Thursday, January 29, 2009, Burry Bookstore, Black Creek Arts Center, and Shug’s Smokehouse Grill are co-hosting a book and author supper from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm. Co-authors Aida Rogers and Tim Driggers from Sandlapper Magazine will be sharing stories from their book Stop Where the Parking Lot’s Full.
This is the quintessential guide to South Carolina dining. The unique collection of Sandlapper Magazine restaurant reviews, spanning almost 20 years, reflects the diverse cultures and extraordinary dining opportunities offered throughout our state. The supper will be held in the Gallery at Black Creek Arts Center at 116 West College Avenue. Tickets are $35 and include the book, supper catered by Shug's Smokehouse Grill , as well as the opportunity to chat with Aida and Tim and have your book signed. Author Luncheon & Discussion on February 26th
On Thursday, February 26, 2009, Burry Bookstore and Black Creek Arts Center are co-hosting an author luncheon/discussion from 12 noon until 2 pm.
Co-authors Caroline and Charles Todd (mother/son team with pen name Charles Todd) will be sharing their latest Inspector Ian Rutledge novel A Matter of Justice .
The luncheon will be held in the Gallery at Black Creek Arts Center at 116 West College Avenue.
Tickets are $35 and include the hardcover book, lunch catered by Bizzell's Food and Spirits, as well as the opportunity to chat with Caroline and Charles and have your book signed.
